Perlu diingat, mengganti injector dengan flow-rate yang terlalu besar belum tentu menghasilkan performa yang baik, bahasa sederhananya campuran bahan bakar menjadi terlalu RICH atau kebanyakan bensin (banjir).

Mas, saya berencana swap injector 6G72TT ke mesin saya (6A12). Setahu saya tuh injector 6G72TT itu kan low impedance, sedangkan injector standar 6A12 itu high impedance. Kira2 bakal bermasalah ga ya ntar kl uda dipasang? Thanks.

Jawab:
Biasanya pengaruhnya adalah kepada Driver Injector yang ada di unit ECU.
Jika ECU di desain untuk High Impedance Injector, kemudian dipasangkan Low Impedance Injector, bisa menyebabkan Unit Driver cepat panas. Lebih fatal lagi adalah rusak.

Kang Saft maaf jika oot, tolong ulas dong topik tentang warm ataukah cold air intake yang bisa meningkatkan kinerja mesin? Ada pendapat saat suhu udara dingin tarikan mobil lebih cepat dan responsif. Tapi ada juga pendapat bahwa warm air intake justru meningkatkan tarikan (akselerasi & tenaga) mobil, udara yang masuk ke pembakaran dipanaskan akan meningkatkan tarikan katanya. Jadi mana yang benar nih? Saya tahu Kang Saft analisa dan penjelasannya sangat bagus. Terimakasih.

kalo untuk yang di aplikasi di motor adakah yang termasuk dalam list diatas?
motor saya Yamaha V-Ixion. dan kalo boleh minta cara tuk merawat injector tapi yang bisa
dilakukan sendiri alias manual gak pake alat yang seperti ditanyakan sama Mas Andrew.

Mas Saftari, bagaimana kalau injector diganti dengan kapasitas yang sedikit lebih kecil. Apakah konsumsi BBM bisa lebih hemat, tentunya masih dalam range performasi yang nggak begitu drop terlalu jauh. In-case saya pake Chevrolet Zafira pengin sedikit hemat BBM dengan mengorbankan TOP Speed dengan alasan Top Speed jarang dipake justru yg sering di range 0 s/d 100 Kmh.

Om Saftari, apakah konsumsi BBM pd mbl boros itu disebabkan injectornya rusak atau sensor udara yg rusak? Ford Telstar 94′ DOHC ku konsumsi BBM nya 1:4-5 saja? Mohon petunjuknya om. Thanx`s
